Quick Description

Sometimes known as Einstein puzzles and sometimes attributed to Lewis Carroll, there is actually no evidence to link either to this brand of puzzle.

Pupils need to use clues to allocate variables to different characters. Beware, even the easiest of these puzzles is quite tough!

Prior Knowledge

No prior knowledge required.

Instructions

  1. You may wish to play the introductory YouTube video to introduce the puzzle.

  2. Afterwards learners need to use all the clues to make deductions and fill in the table.

I suggest having a copy of the solutions as pupils work, and offering clues if appropriate.
