This activity is fantastic!

Pupils solve a variety of well-constructed puzzles to break a series of codes.

No prior knowledge required.

1. Distribute one copy of Deutsch Handbuch for every two learners.

2. Each learner should have a copy of one of the easy, medium or hard booklets.

3. Tasks are self-explanatory, although I suggest that teachers briefly look at each code, particularly number 3, and keeps a copy of the answers (attached) with them whilst pupils are working.
