Reading binary clocks, converting binary numbers into letters, and solving clues.

This is a fun set of activities!

No prior knowledge required.

1. Distribute one copy of the attached sheets for each pupil.

2. Introduce binary using opening few slides, and make sure to play the (very good) YouTube video (<5 minutes).

After watching the video and the teacher checks pupils have understood how to write numbers in binary code, pupils can work through the tasks at their own pace.

Answers to all questions on the first page are included in the presentation, and answer to questions on the second page should form coherent sentences.
